It is learned that 3 headmasters of the Basic Education school in Ann Township have been arrested by the terrorist military council.

The teachers among the arrested were identified as (a) U Khin Maung Aye (60), the headmaster of the Basic Education School of Gna rout Chaung village (b) U Khin Aung (33), the In Charge headmaster of Htaindaw Awapyin village ( c ) U Maung Win Htay (35) In charge headmaster of Loung Ban Kya village respectively. 

“On 31 May 2924, they were called by the township education officer U Ko Gyi to attend a meeting, and on the way to attend the meeting they were arrested at the check post next to the Na Pa Kha (Western Command).” Teachers reported AB news. 

The witness said, “They were arrested by the terrorist military council (Sa Ka Sa).” The 3 teachers were traveling to submit the list of students who applied for admission to the school and to attend the monthly meeting.” The teachers said. 

The colleagues of the arrested teachers told the AB news that even after 4 days of arresting the teachers the families were not able to establish contact with them. 

It is learned that the road goes to Tat Taung Town from Ann. Putting a check post situated near the Lonekauk village bridge where the headquarters of the military (Western Command) is based in Ann township.
