The military council carried out repeated aerial bombardments in Thandwe Township leaving one mother of an infant child dead and at least 5 seriously injured.

It is reported that the military council carried out repeated aerial bombardments on the villages of Sinkhaung in Thandwe Township, Rakhine State, starting from yesterday, June 4th, until this morning.

In addition to air strikes by the Military Council, the Navy also launched artillery shells on the village of Sinkhaung in Thandwe Township starting at 10:30 a.m. yesterday, June 4th.

“In the attack on the village, a 27-year-old woman named Hay Man Oo, mother of a one-year-old child of Mawphya ward in Sinkhaung village was hit by a bomb in her neck and died on the spot.” a local witness said.
