Military Council training and arming Muslims from refugee camps of Bangladesh

It is reported that the Terrorist Military Council is recruiting Muslims from the IDP camps in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.

They give them short-term military training and equip them with weapons in Maungdaw.

A resident of Maungdaw told AB News that the Military Council is bringing Muslim youths from the Bangladeshi refugee camps by boat and giving them military training at Border Guard Division 5 in Myo Thugyi Ward, Maungdaw.

“Muslims living in refugee camps in Bangladesh were brought by the Military Council by boat. They were made to attend military training at Na Kha Kha 5. They were also equipped with weapons. There are already people who have completed the training,” he said.

The military council brought the Muslims from the Bangladesh IDP camps via Ali Village riverbank in the Rakhine-Bangladesh border area to Maungdaw by boat on April 8th and 9th, according to reliable sources.

According to a Muslim from the Kutupalong IDP camp in Bangladesh who wished to remain anonymous, approximately 1,000 young Muslims from IDP camps crossed the border to Maungdaw to get military training and weapons provided by the military council.
Yesterday, April 27, at 11:00 a.m., at the Whai Khyang gate of the Cox’s Bazar-Teknaf highway, the Bangladeshi police checked the Teknaf-Cox’s Bazar-bound passenger car and arrested 2 Muslim youths who had been trained and armed by the military council, according to Bangladeshi media reports.

According to the report of Rising BD, a Bangladeshi media agency, 17 rifle bullets used by the terrorist military council were found from the 2 Muslim youths who were arrested during the inspection.

Those arrested were 19-year-old Kefayet UIIah, son of Mr. Islam from Kutupalong Muslim Refugee Camp, Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, and 18-year-old Anwar Mostafa, son of Mr. Abdus Salam from Bhasan Char Muslim Refugee Camp.

On April 9, they went from Bangladesh to Maungdaw with the help of the Military Council and attended a military training course at a camp of the military council.
After 1 week of military training, they fled back to Bangladesh due to extreme heat and food shortages, according to Rising BD.

The Muslims who were arrested testified that during the military training, they learned how to use G3 rifles, one of the typical weapons that the Myanmar Military uses.

It has been found out that the military council has given military training and equipment to over 100 Muslims from Kyauk Talone Muslim refugee camp, Kyauk Phyu, and more than 300 Muslims from Sittwe, Butheedaung, and Maungdaw.

According to AA’s statement issued on March 17, the terrorist Muslims who had completed their military training were first sent to the battlefield of Rathedaung, and the bodies of those who died during the battle were found.

In addition, the military council has armed ARSA, ARA, and RSO Muslim terrorist groups who were found to have torched houses in Butheedaung on April the 15th and 16th.

The office and medical warehouse of Doctors Without Borders (MSF) in Butheedaung were also burnt down by the terrorist military council and their armed Muslim allies.

According to credible sources, on the 20th and 21st of April, the terrorist military council took away approximately 500 Muslim men from Basar, Dar Paing, Thechaung, and Bumay villages for military training.

Currently, the terrorist military council is backing the Muslims and forcing them to protest against AA holding placards that read “No to AA, and No to War.
